heroku i django: serwer nie ładuje plików statycznych

Ostatniej nocy postanowiłem umieścić mój projekt django school na produkcji. Do tego użyłem Heroku. Wszystko idzie dobrze, ale "ostatni dotyk" doprowadza mnie do szału. Wygląda na to, że nie wyświetla moich plików statycznych, takich jak bootstrap css'es na stronie internetowej i nie wiem dlaczego, ponieważ na przykład plik ball.jpg jest załadowany, a css admin są również załadowane. Jeśli ktoś może znaleźć problem, że mam do czynienia przez ostatnie 10h byłoby wygaszacz życia :)heroku i django: serwer nie ładuje plików statycznych

Niedawno miałem podobny problem na Heroku. Wygląda na to, że Django nie może sam obsługiwać zasobów statycznych podczas produkcji. Byłem w stanie użyć WhiteNoise, aby obsłużyć statykę. Najpierw zainstalować go:

$ pip install whitenoise

Upewnij się dodać whitenoise do requirements.txt również.

Teraz dodaj następujące do wsgi.py:

from django.core.wsgi import get_wsgi_application 
from whitenoise.django import DjangoWhiteNoise 

application = get_wsgi_application() 
application = DjangoWhiteNoise(application)

Wreszcie skonfigurować whitenoise w settings.py:

STATICFILES_STORAGE = 'whitenoise.storage.CompressedManifestStaticFilesStorage'

lub w zależności od wersji Django i whitenoise ciebie są uruchomione:

STATICFILES_STORAGE = 'whitenoise.django.GzipManifestStaticFilesStorage'
