gulp-angular-templatecache nie ma takiego pliku lub katalogu, lstat 'templates.js' error

Question

Mam tę podstawową konfigurację do budowania moich szablonów kątowych.

To gulpfile

var gulp = require("gulp"), 
    templateCache = require('gulp-angular-templatecache'); 

gulp.task("tc", function() { 
    return gulp 
     .src("test.html") 
     .pipe(templateCache()) // when I comment out this line I see test.html file is getting copied under dest folder 
     .pipe(gulp.dest("dest")); 
}); 

Jest to prosty plik html usytuowany obok gulpfile.

Jest to tak proste, jak ćwiczenie "Hello World", ale nie mogę go uruchomić. Próbowałem go na mac-os, ubuntu i komputerze z systemem Windows bez żadnego szczęścia, zawsze ten sam błąd. Gdzie się mylę?

BTW, zależności w package.json wyglądają tak.

EDYCJA: Jeśli dodaję pusty plik templates.js do miejsca, w którym się znajduje, działa.
